Visit picturesque Naoussa with boat charter in Greece

There are many beautiful islands to visit with boat charter in Greece, with Paros one of the most popular in the Cyclades. If you are sailing to this gem, make sure you visit Naoussa, a typically Greek fishing village packed with charm.
The village is situated around a pretty port where colourful fishing boats bob up and down in the water. Stop for a drink and watch the fishermen go about their business or wander among the shady winding streets and whitewashed buildings to find a welcoming taverna.
There are several beautiful churches to visit here. You will find the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin at the highest point of the village, offering lovely views and a tranquil, calm space. Visit at the end of August and you can join in the feast day for this church. The Church of Saint Nicholas is also worth a visit for its fascinating collection of Byzantine religious icons. Those interested in architecture may also want to see the remains of the Venetian castle that can be found here – a remnant of this island’s fascinating and rich past.
Naoussa is also home to some of the most delightful sandy beaches in the Cyclades. Less busy than those in Parikia, they cater both to those wanting to indulge in water sports and those simply seeking solitude. For a true taste of the Cyclades, enjoy a visit to enchanting Naoussa.
