Visit Primosten with boat hire in Croatia

Boat hire in Croatia allows you not only to explore the many beautiful islands of the region but also to sail along the spectacular rugged coastline. Located between Split and the Krka National Park, Primosten is a typically charming Croatian coastal town.
Primosten used to be an island; however, it was attached to the mainland in the 16th century by way of a movable bridge when the Croats wanted to create a fortified refuge from Turkish invaders. The real pleasure here is simply wandering among the old streets and soaking up this town’s laid-back atmosphere, pausing for refreshment in one of the many authentic konobas; however, if you want to dance the night away, one of Croatia’s biggest clubs, which is open throughout the summer, is just a couple of miles outside the town.
There are also some lovely beaches, with Raduca the best known. The clear shallow waters and gentle shelf make it a favourite with families with children.
The area around Primosten is famed for its wine production, so take the time to sample some of the delicious local vintages whilst you are here. The resort also makes an excellent base from which to explore other Croatian highlights, such as Split, Sibenik and the stunning Krka National Park.
